Aug 2019: Freshers' Orientation
Congratulations on being offered to study in one of the best Universities in the UK! Did you know that the
University is part of the Russell Group and we are the first 'red brick' University to receive our own royal
charter? Having said that, we are home to a stunning campus which sports our very charming clock tower,
Old Joe and is located in a very diverse city.
Now for the important bit. We're stoked to meet all of you lovely freshers and we're sure that you guys
cannot wait to meet each other too. Come to our camp to see who your new friends (and SingSoc fam) will be! Seniors will also be around to give valuable advice should you still be unsure or worried about going
overseas to study. We promise an enjoyable experience, so what are you waiting for?
Sign up for our orientation camp on 17th August 2019 at tinyurl.com/UOBSSFOC2019 and join our Fresher's Facebook Group at facebook.com/groups/singsocfreshers1920 to keep up to date with our upcoming events!

Join us to protect our position, and have fun at the same time. All while getting to interact with students
from the other UK schools, and also get a sneak peek into the University of Nottingham campus (some say they have one of the best Fish and Chips shop in the country).

Dec 2019: Winter Party
It's time to get into the Christmas spirit and end the term off with great food and better company! :)

Jan 2020:
Chinese New Year Dinner
What can we say? The most awaited event of the year! Again, don't worry if you are not back in Singapore
celebrating with family because you will not regret coming along to the dinner, feasting and celebrating
with your second family. It has also been an annual tradition, and an absolute honor to have the
Singaporeans from the University of Warwick joining us. Get ready to satisfy your tummies and meet new
people. We guarantee you'll feel right at home.
Mar 2020: Annual General Meeting
We are delighted and proud to have served as the executive committee this academic year. We also hope
that we have done well and met all members' expectations. At the Annual General Meeting, we will present
what we have done over the course of our term and also elect our successors. It is important that all
members have a say in who gets to represent our society, so come and cast your vote. P.s/ There may be
a little incentive for attendees. Did anyone say boba?

Apr 2020: End-of-term Lunch
As the term draws close to an end, it is good to gather and rejoice in surviving one entire academic year
(notwithstanding the forthcoming exams). It is also the official last event before everyone breaks off to mug and battle the exams.
May-Aug 2020: Summer Holidays
We hope everyone will have a great summer and we look forward to seeing you guys back in Singapore!
