As you may have heard, there are some Pre-Departure Events being held throughout July in Singapore! These events include talks by various vendors (e.g. British Council) and University of Birmingham representatives (e.g. our International Officer, Katy Friend) that will tell you many things about University - both across the UK and in the University of Birmingham specifically.

 

Be prepared to meet past and present EXCO members at all the various events! We are excited to meet you and answer any questions you may have about the UK and University. Here are the details of the 3 Pre-Departure Events we'll be attending in July:

1. Pre-Departure Talk with Katy Friend

​

Katy Friend, our university's International Officer (South-East Asia), will be coming down to give you a presentation on the university. Joining her will be members of the EXCO 2018/19 - we will be sharing our experiences in Year 1 as well as answering any questions you might have on applications/accommodation/societies/etc. Sign-up here to guarantee a spot!

2. SPH Scholarships & Top Universities Fair 2018

​

This fair is open to all Singaporean students looking to study in the UK, USA, Canada or Australia! There will be presentations made by various country representatives from all over the world. To find out more about this event, click here!

Venue: Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre Hall 403

3. Pre-Departure for UK Bound Students 2018

​

Held by British Coucil, this Pre-Departure event boasts stands from different UK Universities. Do come down and say hi to us as we will be having our own booth! Register for the event at this link.
